Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our team as a Program Assistant for the implementation of a faculty-led program in Morocco. The Program Assistant (PA) will play a crucial role in coordinating logistics, assisting faculty, and providing support to students throughout the program.
Job Responsibilities:
Fluent or Native in English and Moroccan Arabic (Darija). Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Previous experience in program coordination or similar roles. Familiarity with Morocco, its culture, and geographical locations. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations. Availability to work in May 2023.

- Assist in planning and executing logistics for the faculty-led program.
- Coordinate transportation, accommodations, and other logistical arrangements for faculty and students.
- Accompany students during site visits, guided tours, and lectures
- Assist and provide students with cultural questions and help them navigate daily life challenges
- Provide assistance and support to sick students, including hospital visits.
- Offer cultural insights and guidance to students navigating Morocco.
- Act as a liaison between local contacts and the program participants.
- Assist with airport pick-up and transfer for arriving and departing participants.
- Be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as required.

In this role, you will work closely with the Program Manager and Program Assistants to manage all logistics for our programs in Morocco. The Operations Manager must be charismatic, knowledgeable, and able to make quick decisions in real time. Additionally, you will be responsible for marketing and outreach for our faculty-led programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accompany and facilitate student groups during their programs.
- Prepare faculty-led program proposals.
- Collaborate with university faculty and staff to plan programs.
- Coordinate all site and organization visits prior to program commencement.
- Maintain strong relationships with organizations and vendors.
- Report and manage operation expenses.
- Develop an outreach strategy for faculty-led programs.
- Assist in coordinating logistics before the program/tour starts.
- Swiftly address and resolve any issues that may arise during programs/tours.
- Conduct orientation and other presentations.
- Lead webinars to engage with prospective school partners.
- Be available 24/7 when programs and tours are active.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, International Studies/Relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in coordinating exchange programs.
- Native or fluent in English.
- Conversational proficiency in French and/or Moroccan Arabic.
- Exceptional English writing skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Morocco and its culture.
- Access to a personal computer with internet for work.
- A student-experience-oriented mindset.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- A team player with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
