Artisanal FootSteps tour is an original experience that gives a unique view into the heritage of Moroccan handicrafts, and contributes to opening a dialogue with dedicated artisans in the ancient city of Marrakesh.

Tour Elements

The tour aims to support artisans and promote their handcrafts while providing participants with the following opportunities:

- Experience Moroccan handcrafts and artisans daily lives through workshops and conversations guided by professional program leaders.

- Support the artisans projects through donations, coming directly from the costs of the program.

Rediscover an ancient way of life, tucked away in the old medina of Marrakech. Our artisans use skills passed down from their grandfathers to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind works of art. Take a break from the whirlwind of modern life and explore the traditions and customs of master craftsmen.

The Artisanal FootSteps tour offers travelers an alternative to the overwhelming hussle and pressure of the old medina. This is your opportunity to get off the beaten track and see a fascinating slice of Morocco’s cultural heritage. During the tour, you will have the chance to interact with artisans in their historical workshops and ask as many questions as you like. Join the community of Moroccans and foreign partners who seek to keep Morocco’s cultural heritage alive.

Tour Information:

(We recommend that you reserve your spot at least 48 hours in advance)

MOBT

Number of participants: Group of 3 to 6 pariticipants. Each group will be assisted and led by a Facilitator and an interpreter.

Cost: 600 MAD per person.

Included in the Tour Fee: Snaks, refreshments, lunch, Interpreter, Coffee break Interpreter, facilitator and donations to Artizans.

Not Included in the Tour Fee: Entrance to musuems and any personal items.

Payment method: Once you submit your reservation form, You will receive an online invoice by a MOBT representative.
