Title: Field Specialist

Type of position: Part-time

Report to: Program Coordinator

Duty Locations: Remotely (Must be based in Morocco)

MOBT seeks 10 Field Specialists to join its team. We are looking for candidates who are fluent in English, have superior customer service and communication skills, and able to work remotely. We will give priority to people who live in or nearby the following cities: Tangier, Rabat, Casablanca, Marrakesh, Essaouira, Errachidia, Ouarzazate, Agadir, and Khenifra.

Essential Functions

  • Develop new sites for travelers to visit
  • Recommend accommodations and activities
  • Develop and coordinate activities
  • Recruit and train tour guides
  • Identify and train host families
  • Accompany tour guides and travelers on tours
  • Greet and welcome travelers
  • Assist travelers during emergencies
  • Ensure travelers satisfaction during their trip
  • Report all incidents to Program Coordinator
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • College degree
  • Native or Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Moroccan Arabic is preferred but not required
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion

Preferred Qualification

  • 1-year experience working in the tourism sector
  • Study abroad experience
  • Interest in outdoor and culture activities
  • Outgoing and energetic personality
  • 1-year experience with Google Suite
  • CPR Certificate

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be able to work remotely with little to no supervision
  • Be available to travel within 2 hours range
  • Stay on-call when needed
